Scottish Shortbread



Ingredients

1 Cup Butter, softened
2 Cups Flour
1/2 Cup Powdered Sugar
1/4 Teaspoon Salt

Directions

Blend the dry ingredients into the butter. Pat the stiff dough into an ungreased 9x9 inch pan and press edges down. Bake for 25-30 minutes at 325 degrees. Cut into wedges or squares while warm. Eat up!
Optional: sprinkle with cinnamon sugar before baking
