Mr. St. Clair, winner of the Gold Disk Award from the CUE (Computer Using Educators) organization, teaches 5 periods of a computer class. Students do a variety of projects on their computers, mostly centered around computer programming using a version of Logo called MicroWorlds. Mr. St. Clair has been teaching students to do computer programming with various versions of Logo since 1984. Students make projects using MicroWorlds and then write a paragraph about each assignment describing how they did the assignment. There is no homework except for getting parents to sign letters and grade sheets and returning the signed papers to Mr. St. Clair. Each trimester 2 grade sheets are sent home to be signed by parents. The first grade sheet is the fourth or fifth week of the trimester and the second grade sheet is the eighth or ninth week of the trimester.
