My Dining Room
In my home, the dining room has become our
all-purpose storage place, so this will be my miscellaneous room.
If there are any special events or anything, I'll put them here.
For now, this is my story of our youth group's Beach Evangelism
trip. Enjoy!
Every year, my youth group goes to Rancho Palos Verdes, California
to, cold-turkey, tell those on the beaches about Jesus. This year, we went
in the middle off July. It was a blast!
Although no one prayed to receive Him in our presence, hundreds of
people were able to hear about our Savior. Plus, only God knows how He will
work in them and what will happen.
As for us, the youth, we had a very busy schedule:
I won't go into great detail, so let's just say we...were busy. We
arrived at our base church, Peninsula Baptist, on Thursday afternoon.
Our first outing to the beaches followed soon after we had eaten.
On Friday, we went twice, once in the morning and once in the afternoon.
Saturday was our play day, and we went to the beaches again, this time
to swim or play volleyball or whatever we wanted (Within reason, of course.
All of our excursions are marked with one rule: No Public Displays
of Affection or PDAs, which is absolutely fine with me :) Finally, Sunday we
attended Peninsula Baptitst's worship service and Sunday school. After
that we went out to lunch and headed home. All in all, it was a wonderful
weekend, especially since we had some terrific worship and praying times together.
